Here I go again at trying to write an about me.

I am Gunslinger Zach. That name isn’t really anything special, I got it while trying to think of a name and reading The Not So Wild, Wild West.

• I am 21 years old (born Sep 10, ‘03)
• I am currently attending a community college.
• I have an interest in gaming (though I hate the state of modern gaming)
• I watch some anime
• I have a love hate relationship with technology
  • on one hand, it is this amazing tool that allows us to communicate with each other across the globe and do other stuff that is basically magic
  • on the other hand, it is a major tool for tyranny, surveillance, social engineering, and isolation as a consequence of media addiction.
  • I DESPISE cell phones since they are everything wrong with technology wrapped up into one convenient device.
    • for this reason, I am an advocate for the free software movement
  • I also have a fascination with old technology and old computers. (in particular old thinkpads and fruitiger aero)
• I am a fan of the works of Ludwig von Mises (which the Mises Institute is based off), Murray N Rothbard, and Hans Hermann Hoppe.
• I also enjoy the works of Per Blynd, Ludwig Von Haller, Erik Ritter von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, Samuel Edward Kokins III, Lysander Spooner, Tom Woods, Dave Smith, Luke Smith, Richard Stallman and many more.
• I am a catecumen in the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church.
• I think that bitcoin and almost every single cryptocurrency and token and NFT and whatever new shit that someone comes up with is a scam, not because I am “anti-crypto”, but because they all have failed to actually be peer to peer ecash
  • for this reason I am a monero maximalist. (also the privacy thing is cool)
• I use GNU/Linux, in particularly gentoo because it is a stable rolling release distro that can configured to only use free software and can install basically everything.
