Happy Session Day - - Gunslinger Zach - tags: Notes · Holiday
Today we celebrate the Americans seceding from the British empire.
I should explain why I do this yearly tradition. Lysander Spooner explains it perfectly,
The question of treason is distinct from that of slavery; and is the same that it would have been, if free States, instead of slave States, had seceded.
On the part of the North, the war was carried on, not to liberate slaves, but by a government that had always perverted and violated the Constitution, to keep the slaves in bondage; and was still willing to do so, if the slaveholders could be thereby induced to stay in the Union.

Right Authoritarianism and High Time Preferance - - Gunslinger Zach - tags: Notes · Politics
I’m starting to notice a tendency towards high time preference thinking in right-wing authoritarians. When they argue for authoritarianism, they will use an example of a bad (real or hypothetical) and then bring up an authoritarian state as the solution. They give no thought to the long term concenquences of such a policy. All they care is that they will get immediate gratification because they will be the victors in the current thing.

New Notes - - Gunslinger Zach - tags: Notes · Update
I have decided to start doing “notes”. This is inspired by Richard Stallman’s political notes. You can see them on his website. The idea is essentually the same as all microblogging social media’s except there is no clear line between a full on essay and a note. This means that if I have an idea and I want to publish it and its too long for a microblog social media but too short to be a proper essay then it can just be a note. Notes can also just be short posts also. I am not going to try and segment the notes from the rest of my posts. That takes too much work for seemingly no reason as I don’t even post enough to justify that. If you only want to see my essays then I will have a link that only shows posts tagged as essay. Similarly, if you only want to see posts then you can just click on the link for the tag of “notes”. I have no idea if I will crosspost this to social media or not but we will see.

Louis Rossman notified me that vultr has engaged in rapey buisness practices in his new video. Since VPS’ are easily replacable, I then immediatly closed my vultr account and signed up with linode. Turns out that linode offers a better price than vultr does. So congradulations vultr, you have lost me and many other customers. Was it worth it?
I Am Going to Nuke the Microblog - - Gunslinger Zach - tags: Update · Notes
So the plan of having the microblog section didn’t work out as I didn’t actually use it. So instead I am going to just use social media instead. The idea will be to have my posts on the fediverse and then put them on my website somehow. I will think of how I am going to do this and then update my website once I got a system.

Birthday 911 - - Gunslinger Zach - tags: Notes
Yesterday was my birthday and now it it 9/11. I haven’t heard all the “Never forget 9/11” but perhaphs that’s because of the time that has passed and the memes that get dumped onto social media every year. Nobody does the same with the alamo soo…
Why Covid Related Talk? - - Gunslinger Zach - tags: Notes · Politics
I have started to see some covid related talk on social media. I assumed it was just the crazy cultists until I stumbled upon this article by CNN titled It may be time to break out the masks against Covid, some experts say
One possible explanation is from Alex Jones who claims that he has obtained whistleblower statements alleging that Biden is planning a full lockdown Mid-September
I am a sceptic when it comes to this. That being said, I think there may be truth to this. Fall marks the start of the flu season so we should start to see more sickness leading to more reporting and higher covid cases. We already know how the establishment does things so I don’t think I have to elaborate on this.

Elon Broke Twitter - - Gunslinger Zach - tags: Longform · Social Media · Twitter · Fedi · Fediverse · Notes
It is undeniable to anyone who uses twitter that Elon has destroyed the platform. I am not being hyperbolic. I woke up to a feed that just consisted of people complaining that they couldn’t use twitter because they exceeded their “rate limit”. After scrolling through these tweets, I eventually got rate limited myself. As of now, Twitter is basically unusable because of this. This follows the previous day where He forced any interaction to twitter to be signed in. So now, not only do you need to be signed into twitter to see tweets, but usually that doesn’t even work.

I had two dreams last night conserning a hedonistic future that we are headed. The first one was more generically cyberpunk wpoliticshere technology is everywhere and in everything, where only very small places are car free (hence safe to walk around in) and everyone lived hedonistically. If anyone reading this is unaware of what hedonism is, essentually it is the philosophy that we as individuals should maximize pleasure and minimize pain. Essentually the best possible thing for a hedonist is the coom and consoom pod. I don’t remember much from this dream, but I do remember seeing a picture of ai luke smith advertising a frying pan and being creeped out because I knew that he didn’t consent to this.

I had the (mis?)fourtine of seeing this following story play out live on twitter. (1)
To any sane person, this art is just an example of a “cutepost”, that is something cute to be looked at and then you do something else with your time. To the politically obsesed leftist however, this MUST be political.
This whole “all (fill in the blank with whatever you want) is political” is a testimate to how the leftist sees things. To the adverage person, there is inherently political things, however, there is very clearly non-political things. If you ask someone what the meaning is of this image, then most people would tell you their religious opinion on it. They would never bring up the goverment simply because there is no referance to the goverment here.
